The idea
A dining chair drawn as a continuous line from crest rail to front leg. Its broad back catches the shoulders while the shaped seat keeps the silhouette light.
Construction
Made from the inside out.
The back posts, rails and underframe meet in compound joints that follow the chair’s changing angles. Every transition is shaped after assembly so the frame reads as one gesture.
Finish
Made to be touched.
A pale hardwax oil keeps the ash close to its natural colour and leaves the open grain easy to feel.
