The idea
Four doors become one long field of grain. Shadow gaps establish the rhythm; everything else is kept deliberately quiet.
Construction
Made from the inside out.
The doors are cut sequentially from matched boards and hung on concealed hardware within a solid timber frame. A recessed plinth lets the body hover just above the floor.
Finish
Made to be touched.
A satin oil finish brings depth to the kiaat while keeping reflections controlled across the broad front.
