The idea
A generous working surface carried on a lean trestle. One integrated drawer holds the practical layer without disturbing the desk’s long horizontal line.
Construction
Made from the inside out.
Wedged stretcher joints lock the base mechanically. The drawer rides on timber runners and the top is fixed to permit seasonal movement across its width.
Finish
Made to be touched.
Thin coats of natural oil are burnished by hand to keep the surface tactile and repairable.
